The CES (Consumer Electronics Show) of 2024 is now over, and, as usual, it’s shown us countless new innovative and cool tech gadgets. While some are wacky and others nothing special, several gadgets displayed at the CES have stood out for their uniqueness. Here are the top new tech gadgets from CES 2024 you should know about.

1. ASUS Zenbook Duo

AI is all the craze, and it’s no surprise that it cropped up as a feature in many of the latest tech gadgets displayed at the show. One of these is the ASUS Zenbook Duo (UX8406) 2024, a dual-display laptop.

Powered by AI, the laptop comes with two screens, a 180-degree hinge, a detachable keyboard, and an integrated kickstand. The two screens can be used in many modes; for example, you can have them open side by side, like a book, with the keyboard detached and connected via Bluetooth.

At just 1.35 kg, this lightweight laptop features an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, 32 GB of RAM, up to 2 TB of storage, and two 14” 3K 120 Hz OLED displays.

2. Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid from Lenovo is another cool laptop that will wow your friends. Set to launch in the second quarter of this year, the Plus Gen 5 Hybrid features, in addition to a laptop, a tablet that can be turned into a second monitor.

When used alone, the tablet runs on Android. However, when attached to its keyboard and paired with the desktop, it transforms into a Windows 11 PC.

At $1,999 for both a desktop and a hybrid Windows laptop/Android tablet, it’s a great steal.

3. LG Signature OLED T Transparent 4K TV

The LG Signature OLED T is easily the most aesthetically pleasing TV (soon to be) on the market. While not yet released for purchase, it is no mere prototype like similar displays at the CES, but rather a real product to be released this year (officially, anyway).

Yes, you can see through the TV and yes, you can see through it even when it is playing media. It has minimal on-screen clutter to maximize the see-through experience, and it will be available with compatible furniture (although it’s not yet clear whether they will be included in the price or sold separately).

Don’t worry – you can always raise the contrast on this TV so that it looks like any normal, boring OLED TV.

4. Rabbit R1 Handheld Virtual Assistant

Do you ever feel like your phone is too distracting? With so many options, you might want to start playing a Spotify song, only to get distracted by a WhatsApp message that pops up on your screen.

One of the latest electronic gadgets revealed at the show is the R1.

The Rabbit R1 is a handheld virtual assistant that you can talk to when you want to complete tasks such as playing a Spotify song, ordering an Uber, or booking a flight. It has a retro and minimalist design, with an orange color and a scroll wheel.

With a small screen and at around half the size of an iPhone 15, the Rabbit R1 works via a web interface that you can use to connect to your apps, such as Spotify and Uber. Once you do so, you can issue voice commands to order a cab, for example, and a card will show up on the screen displaying your ride information.

The screen is used for these cards and not for more complex purposes; you can’t watch a movie on it. In addition, the built-in camera is used for things like taking pictures to get recipe ideas.

The Rabbit R1 supports 4G connectivity via a sim card and Wi-Fi connectivity. At just $199, it’s a cool device that can simplify your life.

5. Clicks for iPhone

Clicks for iPhone is one of those cool technology gadgets that might not be necessary but are still incredibly cool. It’s a keyboard with physical buttons that attaches to your iPhone, providing a nostalgic throwback to the days of the Blackberry.

Available for the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, Clicks isn’t just for aesthetics. It serves a useful purpose: to free up more screen space on your phone, allowing you to focus on content creation.

It supports pass-through and wireless charging. You can use not only a Lightning cable but also a USB-C cable to charge your iPhone via Clicks.

Furthermore, it has a CMD button to support iPhone shortcuts.

6. Belkin Auto Tracking Stand Pro

Another of the most remarkable newest tech gadgets for content creation that was revealed at the CES 2024 is the Belkin Auto Tracking Stand for iPhone. This stand not only holds your iPhone so you don’t have to while shooting content, but it tracks your movements and follows your face and body.

It supports 360-degree rotation and a 90-degree tilt for automatic angle adjustments, and it supports popular video call apps, such as FaceTime.

It can last up to five hours on a single charge and supports wireless charging. It’s set to be available for purchase by late February.

7. Magmo Pro iPhone Recorder

The Magmo Pro iPhone recorder is a small device that attaches to your iPhone magnetically. It doesn’t require an internet connection and can record calls with the push of a button.

You could also set it up so that it records calls automatically.

Call recordings will be available in the Magmo app for iOS, along with call details such as the caller ID, date, and time.

In addition, it comes with AI-powered voice-to-text transcription for your calls.

Make sure it is legal to record the call before doing so. Many states only allow you to record a call if both parties have consented to the recording.

8. Anker Solix F3800 Portable Power Station

Tired of blackouts? The Anker Solix F3800 is the most affordable, accessible, and portable power station to power your house during storms.

As it’s small and portable, you can use it to charge your electric vehicle or power up your RV as well. However, it also has the capacity to power up your entire house, with a 6,000- or 12,000-watt output (both 120V and 240V are supported) and a 3.84 (expandable to 53.88) kilowatt-hour capacity.

It can even fit into an inlet to replace your noisy gas-powered generator. It’s much quieter and better for the environment.

Prices currently start at $3,999 (depending on the bundle you purchase) and financing is offered through Affirm.

9. Motion Pillow

The Motion Pillow is an AI-powered pillow that improves your sleep and helps you rejuvenate for the day ahead.

It monitors the user’s breathing patterns with machine learning to detect abnormal breathing and snoring. When snoring is detected, an airbag directly under the head will inflate.

That causes the user’s head to turn slightly to the side, which opens up the airways and helps reduce snoring.

Not only does this help improve sleep quality, but it can make it easier for users’ romantic partners or roommates to get peaceful sleep as well.

It’s comfortable, with no uncomfortable parts sticking out, and is made of high-quality materials.

The pillow comes with an accompanying app, which can be used to analyze sleeping patterns and adjust the settings.

10. Samsung Music Frame

However, it’s also a music player, with six built-in speakers that offer excellent standalone audio quality. It could also be paired with Samsung TVs and speakers for surround sound.
