Troubleshooting Issues with Google Search Bar on iPad

There could be several reasons why your Google search bar is not working on your iPad. One possible reason could be that the Google app is out of date. To fix this, go to the App Store and check for any available updates for the Google app.

Another possible reason is that you may have disabled background refresh for apps in your device’s settings. If so, go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh, and make sure that Background App Refresh is turned on for Google.

It’s also possible that you don’t have enugh storage space for the app to work properly. To check how much storage space you have, go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage. If necessary, delete some apps or files from your iPad so that you can free up enough space for the Google app to work properly.

Lastly, it’s possible that your internet connection is weak or spotty. To test whether this is the case, try opening other websites or apps and see if they load properly or not. If they don’t, try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data by going to Settings > Wi-Fi and toggle Wi-Fi off or on. Alternatively, try restarting your iPad by holding down the power button until “Slide to Power Off” appears onscreen and then sliding it across the screen. Once your device has rebooted, open the Google app again and see if it works now.
