Black Friday is almost upon us and all of you are probably getting ready to either go out to camp at your favorite retailer or go online to your favorite e-tailer. Amazon is offering some pretty compelling reason NOT to go to your brick-and-mortar retailers and instead stick to your computer and get some really awesome deals online.

If you are a movie junkie, the deals I am gonna talk about are gonna make you jump with joy. Amazon as well as others such as WalMart and Best Buy are offering some really great prices on BluRay players. This might in fact be the right time to make the switch from DVD to BluRay.

Novel gadgets always get appreciated for the difference they make to our lives but unless they have the appeal to impress the masses, the chances of getting popular are bleak. Blu-ray is one such technology that brings a big difference with its viewership quality but then that hefty price tag of those players keeps this technology to a niche market.

Not any more…as Philips has developed a £169 BDP3000 Blu-ray player for the masses.

Iron Man 2 Comic Con Footage – At this year’s Comic Con in San Diego, director Jon Favreau and star Robert Downey Jr have brought a five minutes footage of Iron Man 2. Wrapped just a week and a half ago, Iron Man 2 is set for a May 2010 release and is expected to top the first one.

Although not officially released, in the five minutes video, Stark (Downey Jr.) is working alone at the outset of the sequel because he rejected an offer to join forces with Nick Fury’s (Samuel L. Jackson) group of heroes. Stark is then ordered by the government to hand over the super-powered suit because it was considered too dangerous.
