No, you cannot set your Apple Watch to remind you to stand every 30 minutes. The Stand Reminders feature is preset to remind you to stand up if you have been sitting for the fist 50 minutes of an hour. You cannot customize the timing of the reminders or turn off the hourly reminders.

Making Apple Watch Reminders Buzz

To make your Apple Watch reminders buzz, you’ll need to configure the Reminders app on your watch. To do this, open the Watch app on your iPhone and go to ‘My Watch’ tab > Notifications > Reminders. Once there, select ‘Custom’ and enable each of Show Alerts, Sound and Haptic. This will allw you to receive sound alerts as well as vibrations for your reminders. The most likey reason you are not getting stand reminders on your Apple Watch is because you have been active during the full hour. The Apple Watch will only remind you to stand if it has recorded that you have been inactive for the full hour. If you move around or stand up during that hour, it won’t give you a reminder. To get reminders, make sure to stay still for an entire hour so the watch can detect your inactivity and remind you to stand.
