The 3D portfolio that LG has been holding forth is expanding. LG will be bringing to the market place new products on its 3D platform. The company had during the past few months rolled out a slew of 3D TVs for a wider audience. It is now taking a shift in strategy and bringing in the 3D television sets to the home audiences. Expected to debut in May in the UK, the new products promise to change the way you watch television in the comfort of your couch.
Sony made resounding promises to price their 3DTVs much cheaper than those being manufactured by Panasonic but it seems that Sony is covering up the losses with its overly priced 3D glasses.

For a family of four, the 3D sun glasses set will cost a shocking $587 and this includes the charge for the $55 Infra-red emitter. The emitter isn’t some accessory but a connected gadget which will complete the HD experience while viewing a 3DTV through the 3D Shutter Glasses.

The new boxes are expected t o bring in some amount of relief to TiVo that has been finding it tough in the face of competition from cable companies.
The new 3D TV line up from Sony has all in them to turn heads. The three ranges that the company has unveiled come capable of displaying three dimensional moving images and have been tipped to make television viewing a new experience altogether.
