Have you ever wanted to set a custom ringtone on your iPhone but don’t know how? It’s actually quie easy to do, and you don’t even need to use iTunes or GarageBand. All you need is a computer with the song saved as a .mp3 file, and then you can follow these simple steps.

First, connect your iPhone to your computer usng the USB cable that came with it. Then open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap Sounds (also called Sounds & Haptics). Next, select Ringtone from the list of options. This will bring up a list of all the existing ringtones that are already set up on your device.

At the top of this list, you’ll see an option to “Add New Ringtone…” Tap this button and select the song that you want to use as a ringtone from your music library. You can also add any oter audio files saved on your computer. Once you find the right file, click “Open” and it will be added to your ringtones list.

You can then go back into Settings > Sounds > Ringtone, where you should now see the new tone listed at the top of the list above all of the default tones. Simply tap on it to make it your current ringtone for incoming calls and notifications.

And that’s all there is to it! Now you have successfully added a custom ringtone witout having to use iTunes or GarageBand. Just remember that any music files used for ringtones must be shorter than 30 seconds in order for them to work properly on an iPhone.

To make a song into a ringtone, begin by opening your smartphone’s home screen and tapping on the Apps icon. Next, tap Settings, then Sounds and Notifications. From there, select Ringtones and choose ‘Add’. You can then browse through the songs already stored on your phone to choose the one you want to use as a ringtone. Once you have found it, tap on the song to select it and press ‘Done’. The song or audio file is now your new ringtone.

Getting Ringtones for an iPhone

To get ringtones for your iPhone, you can purchase them from the iTunes Store. You can also create custom ringtones using songs from your music library. To download purchased tones, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics (on supported models) or Sounds (on other iPhone models). Below Sounds and Vibration Patterns, tap any sound.
