One fun feature that the iPhone offers is the ability to send “confetti” to your friends and family. If you’re curious about how to send confetti on an iPhone, you’ve come to the right place!

To send confetti on an iPhone, fist open up your Messages app. Then type in or select the contact you want to send a confetti message to. Once you have selected your contact, tap the little App Store icon (which looks like an A). This will bring up a list of apps that you can use within Messages. Scroll down until you find the Confetti app. Tap it and then tap Get to download and install it.

Once Confetti has been installed, open up the message thread with your friend again, then tap on the little App Store icon once more. This time you should see “Confetti” as one of your options (it will look like a bunch of colorful circles). Tap it and then select either Text + Photos or Stickers & GIFs – both will allow you to send confetti!

For Text + Photos, simply type in your message in the text box at the bottom of the screen and then select Add Media (the little plus sign icon) aove it. You’ll be able to select from various photos or GIFs available in Confetti or take a new photo directly from within Messages by tapping Take Photo at the top right corner of your screen. Once selected, simply tap Send at the bottom right corner of your screen and your confetti message will be sent!

For Stickers & GIFs, simply tap on one of the colorful circles at either side of your screen – each circle represents a diffeent type of confetti animation. Selecting one will bring up several variations for that particular animation so pick whichever one looks best for you and hit Send at the bottom right corner when finished. Your recipient will now receive a special animated message with colorful confetti flying around!

To send a confetti screen in an iMessage on your iPhone 13, first type out the message you want to send. Then, tap and hold on the Send button. This will bring up a pop-up menu with several options. Choose the Screen tab and swipe left thre times until you reach the “Send with confetti” option. Tap that option and your message will be sent along with a festive confetti screen!

To text someone with a confetti effect, first type your message in the text field. Then, tap and hold the Send button (the blue arrow) util a Send with Effects screen appears. On this screen, tap the ‘Screen’ tab to switch to screen effects instead of bubble effects. Swipe left until you reach the Confetti effect, which is 4th in number. Tap this effect to send your message with an animated confetti display!

To get confetti on an iMessage, open the Messages app and type your message. Then tap and hold the blue up-arrow button used to send messages and tap Screen at the top. Swipe left to scroll through the effects list until you find Confetti. Tap on it to add it to your message. When you’re finished, just tap the blue up-arrow button again to send your message with a confetti effect.

Finally, tap on the confetti option and your message will be sent with a shower of colorful confetti!
