Troubleshooting Apple Watch Not Talking
Your Apple Watch is not talking to you becase the Tap to Speak Time feature has not been enabled. To enable this feature, open the Watch app on your iPhone and go to My Watch > Sounds & Haptics, then turn on Tap to Speak Time. Additionally, make sure that Silent Mode is not enabled by swiping up on the display of your watch and checking if the Silent Mode button (crossed out bell icon) is grey or dimmed.
Increasing the Volume of Mickey Mouse on an Apple Watch
To make your Mickey Mouse louder on your Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, then tap Sounds & Haptics. Under Alert Volume, drag the slider to the right to increase the volume of your Mickey Mouse sound. You can also turn the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch to adjust the volume of your alerts and sounds.
The Talk Button on Apple Watch
The talk button on Apple Watch is used for the Walkie-Talkie feature. When you press and hold the talk button, it will transmit your voice to anothr user with a compatible Apple Watch. To listen to their response, you must release the talk button so that their voice can be heard.
Unmuting an Apple Watch
To unmute your Apple Watch, open the Settings app on your watch. Scroll down and tap Sounds & Haptics. On the Sounds & Haptics page, tap the Mute switch to toggle it off. This will unmute your Apple Watch and you should be able to hear sound again.
Why Does My Apple Watch Not Allow Minnie to Speak?
Minnie may not be speaking on your Apple Watch because you don’t have Speak Time enabled. To enable it, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then tap Clock. Make sure that Speak Time is on and select Always Speak if you want Minnie to speak the time even if your watch is in Silent Mode. You can also do this directly on your watch.
