Apple had a lot to offer at its September 12 event, and one among that was the new iOS 12. The latest version of the operating system for the iPhones is being rolled out as a system that will improve the overall experience on both iPhones and iPad.

The iOS 12 features a host of new features including the expanded FaceTime that now lets you connect up to 32 people at a time. There are more hands-on animoji experiences, as well as a new Screen Time tracker to keep users aware about their spending patterns with different apps.

All these features would be made available on September 17, four days ahead of the launch of the new Apple smartphones. However, Apple has already lined up the Golden Master build of iOS 12, which features everything inside the stable version.

The version is being rolled out for those who have got themselves registered with the beta program. If you one among the impatient ones, then you could try out the version too by hitting up with the beta program.

Make sure that you have all your data backed up before you get registered. Once everything is set, head to the Apple Beta Software Program site directly through the device which you want to get updated. Users will have to hit the sign up button at the bottom of the page, following which you will be asked to input your login credentials.

Once the process is completed with terms and conditions, the beta profile will be available for download on your device. Hit the download button, and you would be able to download and install the profile after entering your iOS device credentials. You will see the device updated to the beta version of iOS 12 once you have your device restarted.

Before you pull the lever, make sure that your device is compatible with the latest version of iOS. Apple said that the iOS 12 will be compatible with all the devices up and above the iPhone 5S.
