It seems like LG’s flagship tablet is getting some flair amidst rumors of the rival flagships. The LG V30 phablet, which is nearing its launch date, has now been spotted on benchmark listing, revealing a lot of what it packs in the final stage.

According to the Geekbench listing, the V30 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. This would make it LG’s first device to feature the latest flagship processor from Qualcomm.

Earlier, LG’s decision to clasp the G7 flagship onto its timeline had forced the company to pack the older 820 SoC. It would be interesting to see how the new chipset excels in the new combo, and it’s not disappointing.

The V30 revealed a benchmark score of 1899 points in single core and 6350 points in multicore, which is well in line with what’s offered by the rest of the smartphones with the SD 830. Apart from that, LG V30 will also be packing a RAM of 4GB with Android Nougat 7.1.2 OS onboard. You can expect LG’s custom UI atop the Android OS that will come pre-installed.

Other details are scarce at the moment. As far as the rumors go, the V30 will feature a 5.7-inch QHD OLED display with the 18:9 aspect ratio that was seen in the G6. Dual-sensors are expected to boost the rear-camera with 13MP capabilities each. One among those will also feature ultra-wide angle traits.

Another feature that remains unconfirmed is the presence of the Always-On panel. The additional panel has been an accustomed feature of the flagship phablet series from LG. We will get to know about that soon, as LG is all set to unveil the V30 flagship by August 31.
