Henry Fisker is back again with his new venture, after having gone bankrupt with Fisker Automotive in 2013. Recently, Henry Fisker just took to Twitter and revealed the first look of his upcoming supercar. The new model, which has been partially revealed, is believed to be a sleek sedan with innovative new dihedral doors (also known as butterfly doors).

The dihedral doors, which we normally get to see on the exotic models such as McLaren P1 and Ferrari, have been adopted in this automobile too. But in this case, the design is used for both front and rear doors and a rear-hinged dihedral one is the first time in history!

Fisker has further clarified that the purpose of the fancy doors used by the upcoming model is better ingression and egression.

The new California-based Fisker is all focused on developing pure battery-powered electric cars, unlike their old, extended range electric cars. The battery technology for the vehicle has been developed by UCLA scientists at the company’s battery production unit known as Fisker Nanotech.

The innovative concept of UCLA scientists that using graphene produces much higher density than regular supercapacitors will be implemented in the battery tech of new Fisker series. The innovation in the battery tech is going to give the car a triumphant range of over 400 miles on a single charge.

Fisker Nanotech also hopes to raise money for its own car projects by becoming a key supplier of battery tech to other OEMs.

Fisker is all set to reveal more details about the car this week. The vehicle is expected to be formally unveiled in the second half of 2017.
