LG Prepping 4K Biggies for CES 2016

South Korean manufacturer LG has just teased some devices that will be unwrapped at the upcoming CES event. The first batch of debut-awaiting devices comes coupled with the computing world, and is likely to appeal hardcore gamers and multimedia adherents.

The ones that are gearing up for debut include a set of 4K monitors and a new ultra-thin laptop that falls under the LG Gram series.

The 4K range of monitors will be launched by LG in UD68 and UD 88 series, with the latter coming with an impressive USB Type-C support.


The monitors will come in a size of 27-inch, and will also feature technologies like Thunderbolt 2 and IPS display.

Apart from 4K viewing, LG is also adding some devices to its latest 21:9 Curved Ultra Wide series.

The 34-inch UC98 will arrive with a QHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, and will include every technology and peripherals present in the Ultra HD series, except for the Type-C connection.

LG will also have their UC88 model launched during CES 2016, which will arrive in two size variants; 29-inch and 34-inch. The device will although feature a flat screen.

LG has made all of these monitors gamer-dedicated, and has included the latest FreeSync technology from AMD that helps to get rid of choppiness and broken frames.

Along with the gaming-dedicated monitors, LG will also be presenting the new range of LG Gram laptop, Gram 15. The 15.6-inch sized laptop is claimed to be the lightest in its size-segments, and measures only 980grams. The device will pack the latest sixth-gen processors from Intel and will also have Windows 10 running inside.

LG has also hinted that they will be loading more devices in their space at the annual consumer event in Las Vegas, which will get kick-started ruing the first week of January.
