Smart home technology provider August is expanding its ecosystem range, as a part of which they have now launched August Access, a community based expansion phase.

Joining their new venture are three new in-house devices, bolstering their current range of smart home devices.

The key product here is the August Smart Lock, which is a revamped version of its previous smart lock product.

Besides, they have also launched two new devices alongside which deserves no less attention than the Smart Lock V 2.0; the new Smart Keypad, and the Doorbell Cam.

The key highlight of the Smart Lock newbie is with its support for Apple’s HomeKit.

Smart Lock devices can now be controlled by using Siri voice controls with the HomeKit integration, which also lets you be updated with the status using Siri.

The update doesn’t ends here; they have also got new design improvements like a chrome indicator, magnetic faceplates etc.

August Smart Keypad arrives as the right companion for your Smart Lock. It’s for those who don’t want to mess up with their smartphones to access Smart Lock.

The battery operated device comes in a sleek design which will find no trouble fitting beside your Smart Lock.

It also has got a one-time password generation feature which comes to you when you want your Smart Lock opened for your friends or family when away.

The last of the list is the new Doorbell Cam, which is your virtual interface with the world outside of your home.

Coming with a 140 degree HD video cam, the Doorbell streams the videos into your smartphone, and also provides two-way voice communication.

Motion detection sensors within the device will ensure that the images are captured of those visitors who don’t bother to ring the doorbells.

All the new August devices can now be pre-ordered from the official website, or from Amazon or BestBuy. The August Doorbell Cam is priced at $199, while the Smart Keypad companion is priced for $79.

The HomeKit integrated Smart Lock will start its sale at a price of $230, bringing down the price of the original Smart Lock to $200.
