Tamil movie ‘O K Kanmani’ review and box-office collection report

After days of anxious wait, Mani Ratnam’s much anticipated Tamil flick, ‘O K Kanmani’ has hit the theaters on April 17, 2015. The initial reviews have started coming out, and most of them are positive in nature.

The film is getting huge initial pull in South Indian States, and if everything goes well, the film will succeed in collecting almost 7 Crore INR from the first day itself.

The film is set in the backdrop of Mumbai. The film showcases the life of two young couples who fell in love, and starts living together in a flat.

'O K Kanmani'

‘O K Kanmani’ has all the ingredients of a Mani Ratnam movie. It has those splendid visuals which will take you to a new world of ecstasy and thrill. The cinematography of this film is handled by P C Sriram, and he deserves a big round of applause for his effort.

Another major highlight of this film is A R Rahman’s divine scores. The ‘Mozart of Madras’ was in full swing, and he excelled in both song crafting and BGM.

‘O K Kanmani’ is expected to be Dulquer Salman’s biggest film till date. The film has hit more than 70 theaters in Kerala itself, and this clearly indicates the whooping collection the film will get in the first day.

The movie may get somewhere in between 1-1.5 Crore INR from theaters in Kerala as Box Office Collection. Dulquer Salman has huge fan following in the state, and most if the theaters witnessed 100% occupancy in this state.

Nithya Menon is doing the role of heroine in this film. The supporting star cast includes, Prakash Raj, G V Samson and Kanika.
