Curved displays have now carved their own space in the display world. Leaping further ahead, tech giant Samsung is ushering in a brave new world to the display technology arena.

The South Korean manufacturer is now bringing the curved screen display technology to PCs with the new Ativ One 7 PC, which is gearing up for a launch next year.

The prime highlight of the all-in-one PC from the Samsung stables is the 27-inch curved display, which replaces the IPS technology with TN panels in it. Ativ One 7 will be run by a Core i5 processor and will be bundled with 8 GB RAM and a 1 TB HDD.

Samsung will be running Windows 8.1 OS and will also offer support for Samsung smartphone integration with the SideSync 3.0 software. The application will mirror your Galaxy smartphones into the Ativ One display and will also let you manage calls and messages from the PC, with support for receiving inbound calls.

External connectivity is offered by means of USB ports and SD card reader that arrive as in-built features. In case you feel to switch the display to the non-curved screens, Samsung also offers HDMI input and output ports. It also arrives with 10W speakers that enable audio transmission with the APT-X technology.

Ativ One 7 all-in-one PC will debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in January. Samsung is also expected to roll out the all-in-one PC to consumers during the first quarter of the year, with pricing being set at $1,299.
