Tim Cook Not to Play the Apple Console Game; Here’s Why

Some think there is a good chance that Apple might surprise a lot of its customers and fans by bringing in a gaming console to compete with other gaming consoles.

If you also think so, let’s tell you disappointment would set in for sure. This because Apple CEO Tim Cook has categorically stated that the Cupertino-based company will not be making any gaming consoles!

At the D10 conference, Cook was heard saying that gaming has evolved a bit and more people these days tend to play their games on portable devices.

Cook stated that Apple will wait and see where it has to go in future, because their customers love games (who doesn’t?). He said that he is not interested in taking part in the console business in what is thought of as traditional gaming.

Tim reportedly has stated that Apple is a big player today and that things in the future will only make it bigger.

Although, Apple is not interested in the gaming console industry for the time being, he certainly did not mention anything about games coming up in their device. He said it would be interesting to bring gaming experiences to television.

Even if Apple were to come up with a gaming console, there is a very good chance that it won’t even be nearly as good the Nintendo Wii, let alone the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

These consoles have brought to gamers an astounding experience until date. Do you think Apple has all in it to beat them in this game?
