How many of you still remember the Verizon’s show at the CES early this year? They unveiled a perfect travel companion there. The 4G LTE capable Jetpack MiFi 4620L was then promised to come out in few weeks to give you company on your trips.

But promises are made to be broken. So the roll out was delayed so far. Now Big Red says that the ‘My Wi-Fi’ rig will hit the markets from April 12th onwards.

The 4G LTE Jetpack MiFi 4620L Mobile Hotspot can manage and deliver blaze pace internet connectivity to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices on its maximum, on the go. The rig from Verizon is a good fit for business men who travel a lot since it can provide web access in more than 205 countries.

Though you don’t find 4G networks everywhere, the hotspot can fetch you 3G speeds in more than 125 countries for sure.

The device has a removable battery, which can be replaced by a higher one with 3000 mAh unit capacity if you need more life for the device. It has a LED status indicator and an interactive OLED display too.

The Novatel-built mobile Wi-Fi hotspot will be sold for $50 in the US, after a $50 mail-in rebate. For that price tag, you have to ink a new two-year deal with the carrier.

Though it will hit Verizon’s online store and retail stores on April 12th, it will head to Best Buy stores after a few weeks.
