T-Mobile G2 and G-Slate Prices Drop in View of Saturday Value Plan Promotion

September 22, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Looks like a good time to buy some gadgets from T-Mobile. The carrier had announced their new Value Plan celebration on Saturday with a one-day promotion that allows customers to pick up a new device for a down payment of $99.99 or less after mail-in rebate.

Now, with a couple of days left for the celebration, T-Mobile has brought on some changes to the prices of its G2 and G-Slate. The G2 is, like it had been said weeks before, nearing the end of its term, and will be shortly empty from stores.

So if you had been lusting after this device, now would be a good time to grab one. T-Mobile is offering $99.99 on a Classic plan after a $50 mail-in-rebate and $99.99 down on a Value plan with a $15.00 payment per month.

On the other hand, the G-Slate is up and running for $299.99 on a Classic plan after a $200.00 mail-in-rebate and $199.99 down payment on a Value plan with an EIP payment of $10.00 per month. Quite a bargain, I say.

But of course, the better part of bargain will be here this Saturday, especially for the Value Plan takers. Besides the G2 and G-Slate, you will be treated with an HTC Sensation 4G, myTouch 4G Slide or a Blackberry Bold 9900 when paired with a Value Plan with 2Gb of data or higher on a two year agreement.

So a bundle of gadgets for your choosing at a tasty price. Come Saturday we celebrate.
