The Live Release Event of Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate (RC) is now on its way and we are well past what seems like ‘interesting part’ of the event. Unlike the release of the Beta Version, this seems a more subdued affair, but we can live with that. There is nothing ‘under the radar’ about the interest people are showing in IE9 and hence here are the download links for both Windows Vista and Windows 7 users along with the early news from the live event.

The release of the Internet Explorer 9 RC has seen what Microsoft wants to call “desktop moving onto the web and web moving onto your desktop”. While we look past the official line, IE9 basically offers geolocation, better internet browsing security features, malware blocking that is more effective and a faster UI.

Microsoft says that IE9 is four times faster than Google Chrome 10 and that is because of full hardware acceleration that comes along. We will offer a more detailed review once the event is done with, but for now here are the download links for Internet Explorer 9:

Windows Vista (32-bit)
Windows Vista (64-bit)
Windows 7 (32-bit)
Windows 7 (64-bit)

Download Internet Explorer 9 Release candidate and give us your opinion and initial review. Will it replace Firefox or Chrome as your preferred primary browser?
