LG Optimus 7 to be the world’s first official Windows Phone 7 handset: Out thanks to a big leak!

October 11, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

Windows Phone 7 OS is set to be the hot news for the coming few days, no doubt. But it is someone up at the high office in LG that is most likely to be in hot water and plenty of trouble, after letting the world know that LG Optimus 7 would be a Windows Phones 7 OS based handset and revealing the news in a way that is as good as official; through a blog!

Yup, it is very much out there and LG Optimus 7 is the first official Windows Phone 7 device to be out officially. So the initial thought was that maybe LG had a very unique deal with Microsoft to go out before the Windows Phone 7 release on 14th. But apparently not as the news of Optimus 7 on WinPho 7 was pulled down pretty quickly after someone realized that it was not supposed to be out there.

This will surely not go unnoticed and we have already picked up on it and so have others around. That will mean LG might have some explaining to the bosses at Microsoft. The Optimus 7 ha a 3.8-inch WVGA, 800×480 touchscreen, boasts of 16GB of internal storage, 5 megapixel camera and 3G connectivity.

While pricing is not leaked yet, that might not be far off too with way things are going!
