Grossing over $200 million in the first 24 hours of its release ‘Halo: Reach’ has indeed become a phenomenon of its own with Xbox 360 users and gaming addicts across the planet. Now Bungie is finally going to release the much-awaited online campaign matchmaking feature on October 19.

Halo: Reach has already become such a big success that it has topped the charts in Xbox Live with Xbox 360 users completely hooked to the final edition of Halo from Bungie. But updates have been still on their way with improvements coming in bits and pieces each time. But the initially promised online campaign matchmaking feature was not incorporated at release due to technical glitches, but now Bungie promises to release it by October 19.

It was only last Tuesday that Halo: Reach received an update and with the campaign matchmaking feature now just a week or so away expect this to further push up interest in Halo. Bungie has also promised that further updates and improvements will be rolled out in coming months along with an eye on those who might be indulging in credit boosting and farming scores.

So how excited are you about the online campaign matchmaking feature that is a week away? Cant wait for the day, can you?
