Nokia X5 Images and Details Leak Online, Newest Member of the X Series

April 20, 2010, By Atul Roach

It seems that Nokia is not yet done with its popular X Series models and the N8-00 isn’t the only smartphone the Finnish giant is working on. Apparently, a set of images and details have swarmed the web and by the look of things, it appears to be an upcoming Nokia X Series handset dubbed the X5.

Talk about the specific series and the X5 will probably find a slot between the already outed X3 and the X6. X5 appears to be no less a device as it will sport a large touchscreen and a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics on the rear.

The camera will also be blessed with an LED flash and a noticeable feature will be the ability to record VGA videos at 15fps. The internal memory is a tad low at 170MB but that can always be expanded to a maximum of 8GB using a microSD card.

The device will come with support for HSPA-based 3G networks while Bluetooth will be a regular feature. There is no detail available about the release date or the price but considering what the images reveal, it is almost market ready. [via: Electronista]
