The New Nokia X6 Out Now – A Stylish Touchscreen Music Player

November 26, 2009, By Radimir Bobev

The long-awaited Nokia X6 has just been released, and those who’ve placed a pre-order should be receiving it shortly. The device is packed full of features, and it also uses Nokia’s new music download service, “Comes With Music”.

The X6 uses the 5th edition of the S60 operating system, providing the user with a 3.2″ capacitive touchscreen for navigation. It also offers a whopping 32GB of storage space for your media, a TV-out port, customized home screen that allows for quicker access to your contacts and media, as well as a dual LED-flash for the 5-megapixel camera.

The cost of all this beauty comes down to €450 without taxes and additional operator charges. While this may seem rather high, it can be explained with Nokia’s Comes With Music service, which offers users a few months’ worth of unlimited music downloads – and this comes for free with the device. The service’s success has been questioned lately, seeing as it hasn’t gained the popularity that was expected from it – but maybe the X6 is the device that will change that and finally bring some positive light to Nokia’s widely unpopular service.
