NBA Live 10 Demo releasing for Xbox 360 today

September 10, 2009, By Alex Ion

The much anticipated demo for NBA Live 10 will be released to the Xbox Live Marketplace today. All Xbox players are in for a special treat as the PS3 demo won’t be out until 17th September.

The demo is limited to playing with either of last year’s championship finalists. For the NBA Live 10, it is the Magic versus the Lakers, with two of the league’s elite players available – Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant. It is to be a taster of what is to come in the full game.

There is a new shoot-around area called “The Hanger”, in which the league’s elite players can be selected by the user for practice drills. Character movement has been made more realistic and on the most, character control feels vastly improved in NBA Live 10. Each of the nine player-characters in The Hanger has a genuine personality and playing style. Many of the player’s actual movements have been very carefully crafted into the game, with realistic looking muscles, good facial models and better textile animations.

The NBA Live 10 will release in North America on October 6.
