Devices running the new OS, branded as ‘Windows phones’ came in with much hype in October 2009, although Android and iPhone and other such platforms still stole a lot of the limelight. O2 has lost its exclusive iPhone 3G S sales rights with Apple as Vodafone and Apple have also got the nod-ahead. What O2 is now keen on doing is to add some attractive devices to its list to make up for the loss and as per a latest catalog leak from the same carrier, that attractive device is the HTC HD II which is codenamed the Leo. The same brochure confirms that the release date for the HD II is October 26 which means the October 12 rumors were baseless.
