Secure Digital cards, or SD cards as they are known, have become one of the most popular forms of storage media used in portable devices ranging from personal media players to cameras and camcorders. Over the years, the format has been growing in speed and capacity, switching the SDHC standard to allow for sizes bigger than 4GB and now soon to shift to the SDXC standard for even larger sizes. Kingston has announced today that they are shipping a couple of new cards, including a 32GB SDHC card.
