I definitely will love your opinion on the image you see below (that is not mine, anyway) but that is not what we intend to discuss in this narrative. The exciting bit is that Samsung is readying its own tablet, which Samsung calls a slate PC and the product should be available in the second quarter of this year.

I run out of fingers when counting the amount of tablets arriving this year and the Samsung slate news does not do me any good in this regard.

At yesterday’s MIX10 conference in Las Vegas, Microsoft unveiled three new handsets that will be running Windows Phone 7 series. And the one to get our attention is a Samsung-branded device, the Omnia i8910 HD.
If you remember WP7S requires a 1GHz processor and a WVGA screen. That’s something the Omnia HD lacks for now, which makes us think that what we’re looking in here is actually an upgraded Samsung Omnia HD handset, or maybe the Omnia HD2.

Rogers has announced that the android-powered Samsung Galaxy Spica smartphone is now available on their network. The quad-band phone is similar to the original Samsung Galaxy with its 3.2 inch AMOLEDÂ touchscreen, 3G, GPS and WiFi connectivity. But it runs a new version of android ( Android 1.6 ) and runs on a faster 800MHz processor. But the 5 Megapixel camera in the original has been dropped in favour of a 3.2 megapixel one. One of the coolest features of this phone is that it supports playback of DivX and WMV videos.

The new range of notebooks from the house of Samsung has made it to BestBuy. The new notebooks, namely R480, R580 and R780 are the ones you can now pick up on BestBuy. Significant, in the meantime, is the fact that the R780 is being only offered on Bestbuy.com, making it an exclusive for the online store. All three notebooks will be available starting on March 7.

You couldn’t turn a corner at the CES 2010 show without bumping into some 3D display. 3D content is going big this year on cable and satellite providers. 3D Blu-ray movies are also coming along with a bunch of new 3D Blu-ray players and an update for the PS3 to support 3D is coming as well.

Samsung is all set to enter the game with their new big-screen 3D LED TVs. Their new line of 3D LED TVs will be coming to Sears this March. Similar models are being introduced in Europe around the same timeframe.
More details below.

For a while now, there’s been an unrivaled king in the robot house cleaning industry – the Roomba. However, it looks like Samsung are about to put a spike in Roomba’s wheel by introducing their own model for the same purpose, the Navibot – and it’s very close to its release, too.
