So much has been discussed about the upcoming HP Tablet but the pricing was still anybody’s guess where we thought that HP will like to keep it below the 3G enabled iPad. There is some unconfirmed news coming from an HP insider and as per him, the HP tablet will be priced at €400 which is about $546 although the US cost remains a mystery for this unquoted source as well.

It is no big secret that the 3G enabled Apple iPad will cost $629 and if the revealed European pricing is a standard worldwide (which seldom happens), the HP Slate will be cheaper than the competitive iPad.

Sony has finally bettered Microsoft in the consoles war by offering HD movies on the PS3 but there are still some points where Xbox takes the charge; for instance the exclusivity of the the first two map packs for Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 for the first 30 days.

The first down-loadable content for Modern Warfare 2 was confirmed by Infinity Ward itself and it will be released for the Xbox 360 on March 30. Sony PS3 owners will have to bear the pain of waiting for the first Modern Warfare 2 DLC until the end of April this year.

Motorola was pretty vocal about its idea of launching three different Android devices for the three Canadian telecommunication giants and the row has finally been completed with Rogers getting the Motorola Quench. It seldom happens that Canada gets handsets bearing their European names but the Quench has done so, ignoring the Cliq XT American nomenclature.

Talking about the US customers, it is being hoped that T-Mobile will release it as the Cliq XT (of course) but, when will the eighth Motorola Handset be available still remains to be explored’.

Rumor mongers have been precise with their release date predictions for the Microsoft Office 2010 release and the word is now public that the Microsoft Office 2010 will be released at a Special Event which is to be held on May 12.

Microsoft has been customary with its release patterns and again in this case, Office 2010 will be first made available for enterprises with volume license agreements. Such enterprises will get the latest Office software the same day, while the copies of the 2010 version will reach the mainstream customers by June this year.

We’ve discussed how the HTC Supersonic might be a threat to the Droid and Nexus One Android Supremacy and it appears that the nemesis arrival is around the corner.

We are beating the rap, courtesy of a briefly spotted glimpse of the Spring endorsed HTC Supersonic teaser video, and seemingly even the smartphone images that leaked back in January match the device spotted in the video. (video after the cut)
