Even as we tend to find out if there has been any development of the eReader that Asustek Computer had been raving about, we get to know that the device might be pushed back to bring in a new tablet PC. From what we hear, Asustek would roll out the red carpet for the arrival of its tablet PC that would be based on Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor. The launch venue is expected to be Computex Taipei 2010.

The Apple Tablet PC will have to wait, or so it seems. The PC maker is likely to put off the launch to sometime around the second half of next year. Apple had been planning to bring the device to the market by the March of 2010.

The third quarter of 2010 will most probably see Apple hit the phone mart with a UMTS/CDMA hybrid iPhone. Going by reports that hint at such a possibility, we expect the dual phone to debut on Verizon in the US. Dubbed as a ‘worldmode’ phone, the new handset will be built to be compatible to CDMA2000 networks as well as UMTS 3G networks globally, courtesy a Qualcomm designed hybrid chip.
