There are rumours going around that T-mobile’s retail outlets have started receiving their shipments of the new BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphones. While I am pretty sure they won’t sell them early to any berry fans no matter how much you beg or plead. But hey, its worth a try right? In case you haven’t heard of it, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is RIM’s new revision of their earlier BlackBerry Bold 9000. It has potential to be the BlackBerry of your dreams with a whole arsenal of features. Almost every single GSM carrier on the planet is bound to pick it up sooner or later.

While it will be available on-contract with AT&T, Rogers and T-Mobile, the Blackberry Bold 9700 has also been spotted sim-free at MobileFun, an online retailer in the UK, at a launch price of £379.75 . If you don’t mind getting a contract, you can get it from T-mobile for $199.99 after a $100 MIR on 2-year contracts from T-mobile once it comes out on Monday.

Samsung has lifted the wraps off its second Android phone named Galaxy Spica in Russia. Fabulously designed, the Galaxy Spica has its front panel adorned with bright red hues which makes it so luring. The red-and-black combination of the panel and cabinet is sure to make you go for it. However, you will be able to lay your hands on it only if you are in Russia as the device has been launched in that country by Samsung Russia.

Samsung has said that the smartphone comes with a 3.2-inch display, 800MHz processor and 128MB of memory. These apart, the quadband GSM and dualband 900/2100 UMTS/HSPA features make it a complete set. To arrive in Samsung stores in Russia by November 2009, the Galaxy Spica is being priced at Roubles 14,000, which translates into $484.
