Are you ready for some sporting action on 3D? If plans work out as expected, you might get to watch your favorite NCAA Final Four games in 3D format. CBS is gearing up to stream the matches in three definition format and has zeroed in on 100 Cinedigm-certified cinemas to stream the 3D content. It seems like 3D sports telecast is turning a rage in the US. Following DirecTV’s announcement recently that it would join hands with Fox Sports to deliver 3D streaming of the MLB All Star game via 3D set top devices, the CBS plan comes as yet another attraction.

LG is in the mood to please the natives as it simultaneously made a netbook and notebook available in Korea both hailing from the XNOTE PC territory. LG has made kinda’ beginning with the CULV-based notebooks with the portable dubbed T280 which packs in 1.3GHz Pentium dual-core and Core 2 Duo options. With an 11.6-inch display and a low 3.06-pound weight it does have the feel good factor.

Talk about other integrations and you get 2GB of RAM, Intel GMA 4500 graphics, 802.11n Wi-Fi while the processor varies the capacity on the hard drive ranging from 320 to 500GB. The US release of the CULV is a mystery while Koreans can now fetch it for $1,094.

The iPhone App Store is in the middle of a brewing storm. Or so it seems. The Mobile World Congress venue this morning was witness to as many as 24 leading telecommunications operators giving shape to a Wholesale Applications Community, which in effect would build an open platform that delivers applications to all mobile phone users.
Aimed at bringing together a fragmented marketplace and create an open industry platform that benefits everybody, from applications developers and network operators to mobile phone users themselves, the Wholesale Applications Community could be seen as a move that is in direct response to Apple’s success with its iPhone App Store.

Android sure is the craze around the globe but some of the Android OS powered devices can be really expensive and therefore we need to talk about affordable options like the LG GW620, which is also known as the Etna or the InTouch Max in some parts of the globe. The LG GW620 is available in the UK and although it is not the best spec’d handset, it can definitely satiate the Android craving users by revealing to them a discreet world of Google OS compatible features.
