The digital point-and-shoot range from Ricoh is being further boosted with the impending arrival of the new CX3. A worthy successor for the CX2, the new camera boasts of capabilities that would aid it record 720p HD video. Ricoh will bring the new CX3 to dealerships this month itself. We also hear that the US market may have to wait a bit more to see the CX3 arrive for real.

Toshiba Corp is planning to exit the LCD production scene. Increasing losses seem to have prompted such a move, as was evident from the results announcement over the past weekend. With LCD business soon to go off the Toshiba portfolio, the company hopes that the plummeting of sales owing to less demand, price dip and a strong yen could be checked.

The Apple Tablet PC will have to wait, or so it seems. The PC maker is likely to put off the launch to sometime around the second half of next year. Apple had been planning to bring the device to the market by the March of 2010.
