JVC TH-SB100: Blue-Ray home theater in a box system

This will be the first time that JVC releases a Blue Ray home theater in a box system – an integrated sound bar speaker system, wireless subwoofer and Blu-ray player, on US soil and on the face of it, sounds fairly decent.

JCV TH-SB100 is a 3.1 channel system with Dolby Digital and DTS decoding and six-mode digital signal processing. The entire system looks compact and ergonomic with very sleek candy bar styled sound bar that outputs some 30 watts. At the same time, the left and right channels along with the 100 watt 3-inch subwoofer provide for ample audio output making it a great solution to keep your neighbors up for as long as you like.

For $699.95, the entire system is obviously aimed at someone who is willing to go the extra yard to get all those additional add-ons. Set for early release this summer, one will have to wait and watch on how successful JVC will get with their TH-SB100.
