Selling for the first week with a 33% discount for only £1.19 or $1.79, the Buzzie app gets the eye with its clean user interface and the fact that it takes advantage of the iPhone’s GPS functionality to locate you on the map and tell, or not tell people, where you are.

Apple Releases iTunes 8.2.1, Fixes Bugs, Blocks Palm Pre Syncing

Apple is taking advantage of the hot summer days and have rolled out a minor point release to its iTunes media player and management software. Other than fixing a few “important” bugs, iTunes 8.2.1 “addresses an issue with the verification of Apple devices” — which if you need a translation means that they’ve blocked Palm Pre syncing.

Back in May when the Pre was announced, Palm executives promised that the handset will be able to sync with iTunes, pulling down your music, podcasts, and videos, it looks like Palm Pre has become public enemy number one as of late.
