Things were a tad serious yesterday as far as the docking stations were concerned, but today the same thingamajig took a lighter turn and landed us at the Einstein Sound Master Photon Ball iPod Dock, E 135 BK. I wonder what Einstein would have made of it but it does justice to the name with that Photon Ball which flickers with lights in tandem with the music.

Creative MovieWorks HD iPod Dock

Trying to add a fresh new addition to the iPod dock arena, Creative bent, twisted and rolled with their new Cambridge Soundworks line. Dubbed the MovieWorks HD iPod Dock, it outputs audio and video from your iPod through HDMI onto your television or sound system. As for the great job it does – this one uses the Xtreme Fidelity, X-Fi Crystallize and X-Fi CMSS-3D technology, how about paying $250 to hear it sing? And there’s also a wireless receiver (that’s extra) in case you don’t have room for any more wires into your home. [via Engadget]

Kenwood’s CR-iP500 iPod Dock

Kenwood’s CR-iP500 is just another iPod dock for the Japanese market, that should be available just before Christmas. There’s nothing startling new and CR-iP500 looks stunningly a lot like that LG PC12 that’s been selling everywhere for $250. Still, for the Japanese market, this is a stylish new option for an iPod dock that features a built-in FM tuner, slot-in CD player, and a USB 2.0 jack to playback unprotected WMA and MP3 audio files off of your USB stick. With a pair of 5W speakers, the expected price of the CR-iP500 would be around $280. However, we may have bad news. Even though it integrates with your iPod, it might not work with your iPhone as well. [via Engadget]

DLO HomeDock HD Pro: Scale up your iPod video to HD

Wish to view HD video on your new LCD display, from your iPod? This DLO HomeDock HD Pro is here and tries to give you that perfect HD conversion by upscaling your iPod video to 720p/1080i quality. All the digital connections are at the back, making it perfect for your entertainment center.

The RS-232 control port along with the HDMI and optical digital audio ports allow you to have the complete home theater experience, however, do not expect crystal clear HD conversion if your video file is too compressed.

For $399, it is a bit on the steeper end of the price tag, but all the multiple functions it offers make up for that hole in your purse. If not anything else, it is without doubt one of the most stylish iPod dock till date! [via Dvice]
