AT&T has enjoyed overwhelming success with the exclusive Apple iPhone sales rights but the rumor mill is on the grind that the exclusive privileges to AT&T will end in a couple of days at the Apple Special Event. We know that the world is more focused and keen about the arrival of the Apple Tablet and the iPhone 4.0 OS details but, the news of the exclusive deal getting over holds equal importance for us.
There is no certainty about the new carrier to share the device sales but the most probable one is Verizon given its customer base and the network strength.

With all the buzz around Black Friday, the folks from Woot have decided to print some of those crazy deals and have announced that the Kodak Zi6 pocket video camera is now selling just shy of $70. Available in black, red and pink, the device features a 2.4 inch LCD screen, shoots HD video (720p) at 60 fps with 16:9 aspect ratio and comes with an SD/SDHC card slot for up to 32 GB of storage space.

Microsoft today announced separate deals with both Facebook and Twitter in a what could be one the first big things for their Bing search engine. With the deal, Bing will get a real-time data-update feeds from both Facebook’s and Twitter’s networks. Microsoft is all set to announce the deal in a few hours at a Web 2.0 summit.

The Twitter-Bing deal was earlier reported about but the Facebook deal comes as a big surprise. Facebook has the largest pool of updates with its 300m + audience and more than 40m updates daily. Both of the social networking companies were reported to have been pursuing similar negotiations with Google. For the first time, Bing will have something to offer, which Google doesn’t.

It is evident that no one can stop the surge of Amazon in the world of electronic commerce and the stakes for the giant just got stronger as it conquered the biggest online shoes and apparel store, Zappos.com. The deal isn’t really denting for Zappos either, as the company gets to keep its employees in place and all that practically happens is a swapping of shares.
