For those out of the know, the first Monday after black Friday is called Cyber Monday. One of the best days for online retailers by volume and amount of online shopping, Cyber Monday is when people rush online to get the products they couldn’t get during the weekend rush in outlet stores. But the interesting thing is that Cyber Monday is not an US only event, with the likes of Amazon UK gearing up offer Holiday shopping promotions online — with workers at their Milton Keys warehouse getting ready for the years busiest day.

Every year, there is one day, when most retailers and stores across the United States stay open for almost 24 hours and offer really great deals and deep discounts. It is what is known as “Black Friday”. It is the Friday that comes after Thanksgiving and is the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season. While it is not an official holiday, many employees ( except those working in banks and at retailers ) get the day off and this does a lot to increase the number of shoppers.

A more recent invention is the “Cyber Monday” which is the Monday coming right after Black Friday, which is a really busy day for online retailers who will be offering some cool promotional deals. This year, Black Friday falls on November 27th with Cyber Monday on the 30th. It’s still almost two weeks away but it has already started raining ads and offers in anticipation of Black Friday.
