The Creative ZEN X-Fi2 has just been updated with a new firmware, adding a variety of things to the player’s functionality. Trying to add a fresh new addition to the iPod dock arena, Creative bent, twisted and rolled with their new Cambridge Soundworks line. Dubbed the MovieWorks HD iPod Dock, it outputs audio and video from your iPod through HDMI onto your television or sound system. As for the great job it does – this one uses the Xtreme Fidelity, X-Fi Crystallize and X-Fi CMSS-3D technology, how about paying $250 to hear it sing? And there’s also a wireless receiver (that’s extra) in case you don’t have room for any more wires into your home. [via Engadget]
