Google recently got involved in a conflict with Groovle, after the latter registered the domain name groovle.com. According to Google, the domain name was far too similar to Google’s own, and thus Google took the matter to court.
RealNetworks’ RealDVD is a software that every technology aficionado acknowledges owing to its capability of ripping DVD movies into a computer just as you can rip those CDs. The Software has been marred with a controversy that has now seen a United States District Court passing an injunction order-meaning that the sales of the software have been put on an immediate hold, ‘until’ a decision is made.
Legal restrictions should favor the consumers, but in this case the injunction order passed by Judge Marilyn Patel does exactly the opposite.
