Apple is gearing up to start retail sales of the iPad much akin to what it had done for the iPhone. From what we hear from the Apple brass, it is more likely that the iPad might toe the iPhone sales-line by making itself available through Apple’s own direct sales channels and other assisted sales partners such as BestBuy.
So are you all set to go on that big gadget shopping spree on Black Friday to make maximum use of all those awesome deals being offered by the retailers. Well, here is another awesome deal, this time from Best Buy. Best Buy has a lot of awesome deals for this coming Friday, but the deal on this HP laptop is something that stands out. They are offering an HP G60-507DX laptop at $197, while its usual sales price is around $500.
Shop till you drop. Its Black Friday staring at you, yet again. Deal after deal has been announced by retailers to attract the consumer and every store seems to be just set to see their cash counters tingle. BestBuy is making the most of it along with Wal-Mart by offering deals and extra deals.
Just when we thought that notebooks can’t get any cheaper BestBuy has made a mind blowing announcement that a record-low Acer Aspire laptop is going to be sold soon for a price just shy of $250. Expected to pack a 2.2GHz Celeron, 2GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows 7, the unnamed Acer model should be a more viable alternative if a netbook’s screen is too small or if your fingers are too big for its keyboard.
It’s becoming a trend to get the media attention with all sorts of mistakes. This time it’s Best Buy who got the 52-inch Samsung LN52A650 1080p 120Hz LCD TV on sale for nothing more than $9.99 which is a discount of about $1,790 from the original price that you should pay.
But don’t get yourself too excited because Best Buy has a privacy policy that protects the company from “mistakes” whenever they make one. That means that you won’t get to buy the Ln52a650 for $9.99 because if a blopper happens, Best Buy can’t be forced to ship the goods.
What’s even more curious is that Best Buy still have the $9.99 price on their website. Could it be a marketing strategy just to get more and more attention with the economy still messed up in here?
It looks like BestBuy is trying to take on Walmart and their terrific deal on Compaq Presario CQ60-419WM at $289, with the new HP G60-458DX notebook that should be expected to be shelved at $399. Although we don’t think it’s as powerful as the Compaq, HP G60-458DX comes with an Intel Pentium Mobile T4200 processor at 2 GHz, packs 4GB of DDR2 memory and a 15.6″ high-definition TFT-LCD widescreen display.
