Better transportation and solar/wind energy is what leads the green revolution today. Hence why designers all aroudn the world come up with all sorts of concepts that use cleaner technologies. With the economy not doing well, the car makers have to resort to designing mantras to lure the customers. But tell you what, the new Volkswagen Scirocco R has succeeded in laying the bait. It is up to the customers to forget their pockets and get tempted as the just unveiled Scirocco R has adorned a sporty look to the core.
It has been around a long time to claim the spot for the fastest roadster in the world, but what we really wanted to know was when exactly does it get under the hammer. Word is finally out (we hope this time it is definite) and the Bugatti Veyron Targa (or the 16.4 Grand Sport as the experts would call it, is ready for production.
In this age of the Internet, it would be hard to imagine keeping a car completely concealed from public before its grand gala launch. From the testing tracks to the shipping units, shutter-bugs everywhere try to snap up the spoilers. But Nissan have somehow managed to keep their 370Z roadster— set for debut at the New York Auto show, under wraps till now. They’ve just finally released the first official teaser.
The 370Z is being speculated to be powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, much like the Coupe earlier. It is slated to sport a six-speed manual transmission along with a seven-speed automatic version, push button starting, power windows and locks, automatic climate control, two 12-volt power outlets and a 4-speaker audio system with illuminated steering wheel-mounted controls. The fancier Touring model will obviously have a lot more goodies included… Either way, the 370Z Roadster already is generating quite a following it seems!
Nothing short of breathtaking, the Swordfish Motorcycle is a sleek, ye aggressive concept that somehow wants to preview the amazing future of bikes. Designed by Alexander Kotlyarevsky, the custom motorcycle has a very bold curved metal body that ends in two hubless wheels. Perfect for any adrenaline junkie, must be quite an adventure to ride it even if it’s not the most comfortable ride we’ve seen – but boy is it ’sexy’. We’ll take a Swordfish … or two.
