I wouldn’t buy something just based on its looks. I would rather get a drab-looking speed-demon of a gadget rather than some flashy gadget that doesn’t really do well in the specs department. But not everyone is like that. Many, usually females, go for gadgets not based on their specifications but based on their looks. It seems like HP wants to reach these people too. Sony has tried its hand at the Vaio M nomenclature before and it was a PC badge that existed for a while back in 2004 and it seems that Sony isn’t done with the dubbing yet. The Vaio M badging has surfaced again after a gap of 6 years and it is not for a new Sony notebook but a netbook that replaces the recently updated Sony Vaio W netbook series.
