Huawei had created waves at the IFA 2018 when the company unveiled its latest mobile processor and a smart speaker-router hybrid which looks similar to Google Home.

Besides these gadget reveals, the Chinese multinational had more for the audience. Richard Yu, CEO at Huawei, announced that the upcoming Mate 20 flagship, which is set to be launched on October 16 in London, will house the latest processor Kirin 980 chipset.

Earlier there were reports on the upcoming device Mate 20, which had revealed that the handset will feature a 6.3-inch screen with a smaller notch compared to the ones seen in the phones presently sold in the market.

It houses three rear cameras, which are likely to be similar to those seen in the P20 Pro. It comes with a powerful battery of 4,200mAh.

Earlier, the Mate products by Huawei were offered in the US to take the P series technology to America. Huawei had some issues with the US markets this year, and so whether the device will be sold in the US remains a question.

The company CEO did not reveal much about the same but boasted the great performance of P20 series, unveiling of new color gradient and leather finishes for that handset.
