Realme 2 Pro to Arrive on India Shores on Sept 28

On August 28, the Chinese smartphone company, Realme launched its second smartphone named Realme 2 in the Indian market. The phone carries the same premium design as was seen on its predecessor. New features like fingerprint sensor and dual rear camera setup have been added.

At the launch of Realme 2, it was mentioned that that another device would be launched soon, that is in September. The company later in a tweet established that the device to be launched next month is Realme 2 Pro. There is news that the date for the launch of the device is also set.

Realme 2 Pro will probably be out on September 28.The upcoming phone is expected to be priced less than INR 20,000 but would cost more than its predecessor.

The specifications of the phone are not yet out but with the price out we can guess that the phone will be carrying a high- end processor when compared to Realme 2. Thus the upcoming phone might carry a Snapdragon 636 or the Snapdragon 660. The phone is likely to come with a RAM of 6 GB and 128GBinternal storage. There are rumours that the phone will be made available on Flipkart.

The new Realme handsets will be given an Android 9 Pie update based on ColoOS 5.2. The exact time for the update was not disclosed but he revealed that the update is likely to happen in early 2019.

The newly launched Realme 2 which comes with a 6.2-inch screen will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The RAM and storage options include 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB which are priced at Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,990, respectively. Both these phones will be available for purchase on Flipkart from September 4.
