Meizu M Series to Have a New Addition – the M8 Lite

Meizu, is all set to launch a new M- series smartphone in China. The upcoming phone by the Chinese smartphone maker is likely to be named Meizu M8 Lite. There is news that the Chinese certification authority TENAA has certified the phone which comes with a model number M816Q.

The much-awaited M8 Lite list on TENAA discloses that the phone will not be carrying a notch display. The phone will have a 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass screen with 18:9 aspect ratio similar to the one on Meizu 6T launched recently. The body of the phone seems to be of polycarbonate. The phone houses a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera.

A 1.3GHz quad-core processor will power the handset, which houses a RAM of 3GB and an internal memory of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card. The single rear camera has a 13-megapixel sensor while the selfie camera comes with a 5 megapixel. It houses a powerful battery of 3,100mAh and is fueled by Android 8.1 Oreo with Flyme OS.

The Chinese company launched its devices Meizu 16 and 16 Plus earlier this month after the specifications got leaked online. The phone which housed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 had also implemented on-screen gestures in FlymeOS interface which runs on the devices. Apart from these, it flaunted a notable 91.18 per cent screen-to-body ratio in the absence of the notch and fingerprint scanner.

When the upcoming device, Meizu 16 carries a 6-inch AMOLED display, the Meizu 16 Plus has a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. Both the phones come with a screen of 18:9 aspect ratio with Full HD+ resolution.
