There are only a few companies left that are yet to jump on the notch bandwagon, but the names are not the low-profile players. Might names like Samsung is still resisting the trend, but Motorola seems to have given up the battle.

The Chinese manufacturer owned by Lenovo is now prepping up to roll out its new range of smartphones under the P series. Motorola is yet to reveal any official details regarding the smartphone, however leaks have now started showing up revealing how Motorola would be shaping up the upcoming device.

As per the indications, Motorola will have three devices launched under the P30 label; the P30 Note, P30 Play and the standard version of P30. Among these, the latter is what has apparently appeared on the leaks, revealing the shift of stance made by Motorola with regard to notches.

The 6.2-inch display comes with a rather larger notch atop the display real estate. The broader notch also makes the device resemble the iPhone X device. However, complex face-recognition sensors aren’t expected, as the notch would apparently be including only the speculated 12MP front-cam and related sensors. On the rear-side, the P30 packs a dual-camera combo of 16MP and 5MP shooters.

Inside, the P30 is expected to pack an octa-core processor paired with 6GB RAM. Storage will likely be offered in 64GB and 128GB offerings. A 3000 mAh battery will be providing the juice to the device. The P30 will also be having Android Oreo on board.

Details about the other two P30 devices are scarce at the moment, though the Note version can be expected to feature slightly powerful specifications including a larger display. However, it needs to be seen whether Motorola will have the notch featured on all the devices under the series.
