Moto Z3 with 5G Moto Mod to Arrive on August 2

Motorola had launched its high end smartphone Moto Z2 and its basic version Moto Z3 at an unveiling event last year, in June. The company did not launch the high- end Moto Z3 along with its basic Moto Z3Play then. There are rumors now doing the rounds that the company will launch its flagship Moto Z3 at an event scheduled for August 2.

The latest reports are that the phone will lack the Force Edition branding and shatterproof display. Motorola had sold the Force Edition of Moto Z2 in the US last year on all major operators. The upcoming phone named Moto Z3 will be made available on Verizon in the US. Motorola had signed an agreement with Verizon recently.

The company is likely to make an official announcement of 5G Moto Mod along with Moto Z3. These 5G Moto Mod will only be usable, post the launch of 5G network by Verizon. This will make Moto Z3 one among the first phones to come with 5G option.

Along with Moto Z3 flagship smartphone, Motorola is also expected to introduce Moto C2 and Moto C2 Plus Android Go phones. Moreover, the Motorola One and One Power Android One phones may also get official on August 2.

As far as Moto Z3 is concerned, it is rumored to be available for buying by late summer. There is no information on the specifications of the Moto Z3. However, it is likely to feature the Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6 GB of RAM.

Motorola is likely to unveil Moto C2 and Moto C2 Plus Android Go phones along with its flagship handset Moto Z3. Apart from these, the Motorola One and One Power Android One phones are also rumored to get official on August 2.

The Moto Z3 will be rolled out in the market by late summer. Specifications of the upcoming Motorola flagship product are not yet out. News is that it is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC with a 6 GB of RAM.
