Samsung’s Upcoming Wireless Charger can Power up Two Devices at the Same Time

Wireless charging is somewhat a standard of modern flagship, and that’s the reason why companies are working to come up with new innovations regarding the same. Apple had previously said about the AirPower Mat that would charge up more than one device at a time, and it apparently looks like Samsung is embracing a similar path.

As per the latest leak, Samsung is set to release a new wireless charging pad that could juice up two devices simultaneously. A bundle image of the new Wireless Charger Duo hints that the charger could hold two Qi-enabled devices at the same time, serving the juice for both the devices at once.

It’s a good indication that Samsung’s wireless charger might not just settle for charging one smartphone and a wearable. Instead, the Wireless Charger Duo, as it seems, will come with the capability to charge two smartphones at the same time.

It certainly is a big plus over the AirPower Mat, which confines the simultaneous charging to an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods.  Moreover, Apple is still said to be running over hurdles regarding heating issues with the prototypes, and we certainly have a clear image of when it will be coming out.

As with the Wireless Charger Duo, Samsung will most likely put it up for a public show during its upcoming Samsung Unpack conference that will be taking place on August 9th. The timing also makes it right as Samsung will have the Galaxy Note 9 and the new Galaxy Watch launched around the same time. So it’s a perfect combo to get the charger pitched to the users.
