Upcoming Vivo Y71 Variant to be Called Y71i; Set for India Market

In April 2018, Vivo launched its VivoY71 smartphone in the Indian market. The product offered via offline and online outlets was priced at INR 10,990. Now it’s now time for a new device from the company, and the Indian customers seems to be excited.

Going by what we hear, the Chinese smartphone maker is set to bring forth a new variant called Vivo Y71i. The handset will be launched in In India with reduced specifications. This variant will be offered at a discounted rate.

The smartphone, to be priced at INR 8,990, will be available offline. The specification sheet that has been doing the rounds on social space, reveals a downgrade in the RAM and rear camera features of the upcoming variant.  When it comes to the design, the variant will look similar to the Vivo Y71. Vivo has not yet announced anything as yet.

The handset, which sports a 5.99-inch (720×1440 pixels) full-view display with 18:9 aspect ratios, will run on the FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone will be fueled by 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC. With a 2GB RAM, the phone will house an internal storage of 16 GB. The user gets an option to expand it up to 256 GB.

An 8 megapixel rear sensor with f/1.0 aperture and HDR mode will be the primary camera for the phone. For the secondary camera, there comes a 5 megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It will also flaunt AI beauty features. The spec sheet has also revealed a battery of 3,360 mAh, while there are other reports that state that the battery will be of 3,285mAh.
