Like the name suggests, Google’s Datally app has been the perfect ally by many in their Android devices to get rid of their data consuming concerns. Now it’s getting even better with the job.

A new update is now available for Datally that brings in four new features in particular, all of which can help you cut down your data cost considerably. The first one is the ability to set daily limit for data consumption from within the app.

Datally now features daily limit feature with which you can set the maximum data you want to consume in a day inside the app. Once the limit is reached, Datally will turn off your data so that it’s not getting used by any of your apps. There is also the option to continue with your data consumption so that your activities are continued when needed.

Datally also now has more focus on unused background apps. A new feature is available that will disable the data access of apps that have been left unused in the background for a while. This can be done with just a single tap of a button.

For those concerned about data consumption when their device is used by others, Datally has got it covered for you too. The new guest mode feature available in the app will make sure that your phone doesn’t consume too much data when it the hands of others.

The last of the lot helps you cut down your data consumption by helping you to switch to a Wi-Fi connection. A new Wi-Fi Map is now available within the app that helps users find out the available open networks around their place. User ratings are also provided to help users determine the best network.

The new additions have already started rolling out and you can download the app here.
